There are no words.
These pictures can never fully do justice to the beauty that I saw among those islands. Palawan had always been on my bucket list. After a supposed trip got called off early last year, I did everything in my power to make it happen even if it took forever.

Now, it's not part of my plan to give a detailed account of my trip. I don't see the point in sharing my personal experience as I don't want people to have expectations neither do I want to ruin someone's enthusiasm. Palawan is a magical place and one should come there with a humble heart and an open mind.

Let its beauty speak for itself.

Although, I would like to share some of the things I learned during my stay.

1. Taking a ferry to Palawan is not bad. Not bad at all. Since it is a popular tourist destination, you'll find a lot of foreign backpackers that are willing to strike a conversation. After all, it's a long ass trip.

2. They seriously have the best Cashew nuts.

3. It's full of underwater surprises.  The vivis coral reefs are breathtaking but they're just as scary as they are majestic. As tempting as they are to touch, be mindful that they may be harmful to you in the same way that you are harmful to them.

4. It's surprisingly hard to drown in salt water. I mean, I don't actually want to. It's just that I exerted more effort in plunging than getting to the surface, which limited my underwater experience. Invest in flippers. It'll be worth it.

5. Don't even think about getting an expensive hotel. Coron is meant to be explored and that you will do. You'll be out most part of the day and be too tired to enjoy an elegant room. And your bathroom with a tub? That's nothing compared to the vast bodies of water you'd be swimming in the whole day. Think about that.

6. Please get a Go Pro.

And that's one. Twenty-four more to go.
